Bon Odori 2010

Assalamualaikum, peace be upon you and Konichiwaa!

“Obon (お盆?) or just Bon (盆?) is a Japanese Buddhist custom to honor the departed (deceased) spirits of one’s ancestors. This Buddhist custom has evolved into a family reunion holiday during which people return to ancestral family places and visit and clean their ancestors’ graves, and when the spirits of ancestors are supposed to revisit the household altars. It has been celebrated in Japan for more than 500 years and traditionally includes a dance, known as Bon-Odori.”

Agak bergelut jugak aku mencari tempat nak sembahyang Maghrib sebab ramai sangat ummat.

(boleh tak saya nak no fon awak)” bersama-sama Kenny tetapi misi gagal untuk mempraktikannya apabila mengetahui mostly Japanese gurls kat situ sume budak-budak sekolah lagi tak pun dah jadi mak kepada budak sekolah tersebut (T^T)

Night Glow – 2nd Putrajaya International Hot Air Ballon Fiesta 2010

Firstly, I’m sorry because I don’t have any target or making any plan for photo hunting for this event. Just like to enjoy and witness the moments with my own eyes rather than behind the lenses. I just went there with my college friends after attended one of our friend’s wedding in Seremban. These are my random snapshots throughout the night. Really awesome event I might say. Enjoy :)

Edisi Tergezut : The downfall of a thief

09 February 2010 – Flora Damansara, Selangor. Around 5.15pm this evening, I just surf the internet when suddenly I heard people screamed outside my place. Since my workstation near the window, I looked out to know what is going on. There are few men running including security guard like chasing someone. Then I saw a guy climb on the corridor and looked very suspicious. ( I did shoot this moment but suddenly I realize that the memory card is not inside the camera body!). I thought it was a suicide attempt at the first place. But suddenly the guy stopped at one of the corridor and trying to break the grill and sliding door then I realize the guy actually trying to break in the houses.

In a blink of the eyes, the neighborhood peoples flooding the area and wondering whats going on.

This is the “victim” who the thief trying to robbed. I think it was the 10th floor and imaging how the thief jump and climb down to the balcony on the 4th floor.

The brave men trying to catch the thief but they still wondering the actual location of the thief. There are no one inside the suspected house so they tried to catch the thief from nearest balcony. Since I was one of the first witness who saw the situation, I tried to guide them to the correct location.

Realizing he had been trapped, the guy (the thief) surrendered and trying to asked people to “calm down”. But its too late.

With a hand from the authorities and cooperation from the neighborhood, they successfully catch the thief and take him to the place that he deserved.

Last two nights, two houses had been break in and the thief succesfully escape. But not today. Like the Malay proverb says,

Bright day + many people around + striking t-shirt colour + no backup plan = Priceless
